Through my own projects in my own theater Public Performance and through my teaching at the Theater Academy in Malmö, I have a strong focus on working with participatory performing arts. I have a particular focus on how to frame performing arts projects in a way where the role of the audience naturally becomes more active than the role of passive spectators we often give the audience in the more traditional theater.

In this KU project, I will specifically investigate and describe the methods and techniques I use in my own projects, and at the same time describe the methods and approaches I have observed that the students at the Theater Academy are most interested in.
