How Little Is Enough? Sustainable Methods of Performance for Transformative Encounters (2024)

Steinunn Knúts-Önnudóttir

The project focuses on methodological development in order to develop the transformative potential of theater. At the heart of the research plan is a desire to develop theater as a counterforce to destructive, materialistic tendencies in society and as a catalyst for rethinking life values. The project aims to explore the possibilities of creating transformative experiences for audiences through participatory and immersive artworks in the form of a series of discursive performances focusing on sustainability and minimalism. The project is also part of the 2030 Agenda Research School at Lund University.
