Tanja Hylling Diers

Doktorand

Educated Master of Arts in Theatre and Performance Studies at University of Copenhagen in 2011. In 2009 she studied at Freie University in Berlin by Professor Erika Fischer Lichte.

2011-2017 she held the position as dramaturg and International Coordinator at the city theatre Sort/Hvid in Copenhagen under the artistic direction of Christian Lollike. During this time she was the dramaturg of award-winning performances as Manifest 2083 (2012), All My Dreams Come True (2013), Living Dead (2016). At the theatre she was also the project coordinator for five years of a playwriting workshop and curated and organized three international festivals (2012-14). 
Since 2017 she has been working as freelance dramaturg.

Over the years she has worked with many directors, companies and theatres all over Denmark among others Tue Biering/Fix&Foxy, Global Stories, Cheer Extreme, Cecilie Ullerup Schmidt and Andreas Liebmann and the Greek company ODC Ensemble lead by Elli Papakonstantinou. 
In 2018 she was granted an Art Fellowship at Manchester International Festival by The Danish Arts Foundation.

Tanja Diers´ forskning

Tanja Diers forskningsprojekt tar sin utgångspunkt i hennes omfattande erfarenheter av dramaturgiskt arbete. Medan kvaliteter i det enskilda scenkonstverket kan utvecklas genom dramaturgiska strategier, kan de enskilda verkens kvaliteter i sin tur bringas att samverka på en övergripande nivå, exempelvis i scenkonstfestivaler, genom kuratoriska eller makro-dramaturgiska strategier. Projektet fokuserar på metodutveckling och syftar till att utforska och utveckla relationerna mellan dramaturgiska och makro-dramaturgiska strategier med fokus på mångfald på samtliga nivåer.
