We want to highlight issues related to all kinds of power structures and norms that we at the school feel may exist. The students can come up with suggestions for lecturers, workshops and completely different ideas on how to promote and increase equality at the school. We also want to open up the school more to the public and to Malmö. The goal is for each class to have a representative in the group and for the group to have representation from T/A staff and teachers. The equality group also aims to work for broader recruitment and representation at the school. The group has an intersectional perspective, which in short means working to counteract all coinciding and parallel forms of discrimination and oppression.
