Scenkonstbryggan, "The Performing Arts Bridge"

Scenkonstbryggan is a course that aims to awaken curiosity and interest in performing arts and performing arts education among people who have little or no experience in theater.

The course started in spring 2023 and a continuation course is now being held in the fall, where participants are further challenged and given the chance to immerse themselves in theater. This fall's workshops are led by Karim Rashed, Rayam Al Jazairi and Daniel Staley, with the help of students at the Academy of Theatre.

Scenkonstbryggan is a collaboration between the Theatre Academy in Malmö and Fridhems Folkhögskola (residential college for adult education) where, in addition to arousing curiosity and interest in performing arts and artistic education, we try to increase the diversity of artistic education and the Swedish stages.
