Jurrien and her team researched homelessness policies in Sweden and their effects on people's lives. They spoke with different people, including experts with lived experience, social workers, lawyers, and aid organizations such as the Red Cross and Svenska Kyrkan.
In the performance, they guide the audience to different places and fragments of these experiences, based on the conversations they've had.
Jurrien's work explores how theatre can be used to make the effects of policies visible and tangible for those who work with them, those with lived experience, and those responsible for shaping them. By bringing together different groups of people, she uses the stage as a space to address the impact of these policies and to open a dialogue about them.
